    Food law is decisively shaped by a large number of EU regulations and requirements in order to ensure uniform regulation of food rules in the European internal market. The central EU regulation is the EU’s basic regulation on food law (Regulation (EC) No. 178\/2002). There are also many other EU regulations, directives or other EU legal acts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    At the national level, food law is regulated in particular in the Food, Consumer Goods and Feed Code (LFGB).
